App license
Vault is provided by Second Wind, LLC, United States. For the app distributed through Apple's App Store, the license agreement is Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Read that agreement for the applicable license terms. This page identifies the agreement and explains the app's purchase and recovery arrangements; it does not replace Apple's EULA.
Free and Pro
Vault includes a Free tier and optional Pro access. The app shows the included features, limits, price and billing period before a purchase. Actual prices, storefront availability and eligibility for trial or introductory offers are supplied by Apple. Weekly and annual plans renew until canceled; lifetime access is a one-time non-consumable purchase.
An eligible free trial or discounted introductory period converts to the stated renewing price unless canceled in time through Apple. Apple's purchase sheet and your subscription settings show the terms that apply to your account. Introductory offers in the same subscription group are subject to Apple's eligibility rules.
Managing purchases
Apple processes payment. Use Restore purchases with the purchasing Apple Account, or manage subscriptions through Apple. Apple handles billing and refund requests. Expiration of Pro does not prevent reading, exporting or recovering your existing vault contents.
Your recovery material and copies
Choose an unpredictable pattern and protect your 12 recovery words. We do not have a password-reset service or a copy of your recovery credential. Losing access to both the pattern and recovery words can make encrypted material unrecoverable.
Maintain backups appropriate to your needs. Readable exports, shared copies, other devices and older backups are separate copies. A shared copy cannot be remotely recalled. Local deletion and duress actions do not guarantee removal of those other copies.
