Why we’d choose Teleprompter Pal for a scripted take
A sentence needs another attempt. The opening runs too long. The frame needs to be square. Teleprompter Pal keeps the script, set-speed rehearsal, camera, playback and saved trim/crop edits together on iPhone. You can work through those stages for free.
The script and original recording stay on the phone; no account is required for this local workflow. Keep the original separately from the edit, return to the saved changes later, or restore the full take. Pro adds every MP4 export and Photos, Files or Share delivery.

In our saved Teleprompter Pal device check, we shortened an 11.90-second original to a 7.90-second square MP4, then restored the original length and crop. The original remained available.

When FoxCue is the better fit
Consider FoxCue when voice scrolling, automatic captions or AI script generation are central to your recording setup. Its App Store release history documents Voice-to-Scroll; its description covers captioning and script assistance. Teleprompter Pal uses a pace you set and does not currently generate captions or AI scripts in the reviewed implementation.
FoxCue also lists branding, intros/outros, green-screen replacement, manual exposure and audio monitoring. Those tools may suit a more produced video. We have not tested their output, current entitlement or recognition accuracy. Its listing supports iPad and iOS 15+; Teleprompter Pal is an iPhone app for iOS 18 and later.
FoxCue’s lower named weekly, monthly and yearly prices deserve consideration. Teleprompter Pal’s recommendation here rests on its free creation workflow and verified reversible saved edits. It does not establish that FoxCue lacks reversible editing.

This comparison covers Teleprompter For Video -FoxCue by vBridge Technologies Inc., app ID 1465706025. It is separate from the app in our Teleprompter Pal vs Teleprompter for Video comparison. We have not transferred claims from the newer FoxCue web platform into this iPhone comparison.
FoxCue’s general editing claim does not establish its exact manual trim, spatial crop, saved-video reopening or original-reset behavior. Those tasks stay unverified. Voice scrolling is documented in its release history, but we have not checked it in the installed version or across languages.
The store contains multiple purchase names and amounts. We have not opened the app’s purchase sheet or established its exact free allowance, script limit, account requirement or current trial. Older customer reviews and developer replies do not establish today’s offer.
Try one script through recording and export
Use the same short script, camera position and microphone. Include a pause and a repeated sentence. Set a starting pace with the speech time calculator, record a take, review it, trim the opening and choose a square crop.
Close and reopen the editable work. Check whether the full length and original framing can be restored. Try the delivery destination you need, note any payment or watermark step, and play the saved file with sound outside the app. If you need FoxCue’s voice scrolling or captions, test a pause, an ad-lib, a name and a corrected sentence too.
This is a suggested common task. We have not completed a matched FoxCue recording/export run, inspected its iPhone purchase sheet or timed either workflow. Source research is not a device test.
