Your script runs past a short free-reader limit, and the take needs a tighter opening or a square frame. Teleprompter Pal keeps the script, set-speed rehearsal, camera, playback and saved trim/crop edits together on iPhone. You can work through those stages for free.

In our saved Teleprompter Pal device check, we shortened an 11.90-second original to a 7.90-second square MP4, then restored the original length and crop. The original remained available.

When Prompt+ is the better fit
Consider Prompt+ when the reader needs to follow your speech, reflect text in a physical rig or accept a Word/PDF script. Its guides document presentation remotes, keyboards, pedals, game controllers and a second Mac or iOS device controlling the display. These are developer claims, not our hardware or voice-accuracy results.
Its one-time reader upgrade may suit someone avoiding a recurring subscription. Prompt+ also documents a local mode that skips login. Logging in adds script sharing across devices and with its separate video app. Teleprompter Pal’s local workflow also needs no account; that is a shared benefit.
Current release history advertises AI writing and rewriting, whose service availability and gates we have not tested. Prompt+ documents Zoom use on supported iPads and Macs; its platform table does not promise that workflow on iPhone. Teleprompter Pal remains focused on iPhone recording and saved video edits.
Prompt+ is separate from Teleprompter for Video
The US listing identifies Prompt+ Teleprompter by Norton Five Ltd, app 1483052809. Its website terms name Teleprompter For Video Ltd as operator. The sibling Teleprompter for Video comparison covers a separate app, ID 1139307843. Its recording or caption features do not become Prompt+ entitlements.
The developer’s physical-rig guide describes Prompt+ as a reader with no video. Its remote-control guide also includes a generic recording-button label. We have not confirmed an installed camera flow, so recording, video delivery and exact video editing/reset tasks stay unverified here. A button label or shared script account does not resolve that question.
Teleprompter Pal uses a pace you set in the reviewed implementation. We have not verified its physical mirror-rig task; a mirrored selfie preview is a different thing. We do not claim that either product’s voice recognition, remote connection, privacy or reliability is better without a suitable common test.
Try the reader and the recording job separately
Start with the same script under 750 characters. Use the speech time calculator to choose a starting pace. Read with a pause and a repeated sentence. In Prompt+, try its documented voice mode and any remote or mirror setup you need. Then check what happens with your longer script.
In Teleprompter Pal, record a take, trim the opening, choose a square crop, close and reopen the edit, and restore its full length and framing. Note the Pro boundary before exporting. If your Prompt+ edition offers built-in recording, verify that route before attempting the same video task; a separate camera recording is a different setup.
This is a proposed evaluation, not a matched test we completed. We have not installed and tested Prompt+’s current reader, camera, recognition, remote controls or eligible purchase sheet. Source inspection does not perform those tasks.
